Die Technologie kann mit vorgeschalteter kontrollierter Koagulation und Flockung kombiniert werden, um eine hohe Absetzleistung zu erzielen.<br \/>\nDas zu behandelnde Wasser wird in die Lamellenplatten am unteren Ende eingeleitet. W\u00e4hrend das Speisewasser zum oberen Ende des TPS zwischen die Platten flie\u00dft, setzt sich der Schlamm auf den Platten ab, gleitet nach unten und wird am Boden des Moduls freigesetzt. Die optimale Konfiguration wird auf der Grundlage des Zulaufs, der Feststoffkonzentration und -dichte, der Absetzgeschwindigkeit, des Schlammvolumens und der erforderlichen Abwasserqualit\u00e4t bestimmt. Ein Anwendungsfragebogen kann f\u00fcr die Auslegung hilfreich sein.
