Der Grund daf\u00fcr ist, dass er das perfekte Filtermedium ist: inert, abriebfest, frei von Verunreinigungen, in gleichm\u00e4\u00dfiger Korngr\u00f6\u00dfenverteilung und relativ g\u00fcnstig.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; punctuation-wrap: simple; text-autospace: none; vertical-align: baseline;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Filtersand, der in Tiefbettfiltern, wie z. B. Durchlauffiltern, verwendet wird, kann aus zwei Quellen gewonnen werden: entweder aus Flussbetten oder durch Abbau. In Durchlauffiltern wird der Quarzsand aus dem Flussbett bevorzugt, da er aufgrund des langfristigen nat\u00fcrlichen Erosionsprozesses perfekt abgerundet ist. Da sich der Sand in einem kontinuierlichen Filter st\u00e4ndig nach unten bewegt, f\u00f6rdert der abgerundete Sand eine gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige Bewegung. Dies f\u00fchrt zu einer besseren Filterleistung.  Der Flusssand wird aus dem Flusseinzugsgebiet gebaggert und muss aufbereitet werden, bevor er f\u00fcr die Tiefbettfiltration verwendet werden kann. Die Aufbereitung besteht aus der Reinigung, Trocknung und Siebung des Rohmaterials, um ein Produkt herzustellen, das einer Reihe von Qualit\u00e4tskriterien entspricht.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; punctuation-wrap: simple; text-autospace: none; vertical-align: baseline;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Die spezifische Dichte von Filtersand betr\u00e4gt 2,6 t\/m<sup>3<\/sup>mit einem Porenraum oder einer Porosit\u00e4t von 40%. Dies gilt unabh\u00e4ngig von der Form und der Korngr\u00f6\u00dfe. Das bedeutet, dass die scheinbare Dichte des Filtermediums in einem Sandfilter gleich 1,6 t\/m<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; punctuation-wrap: simple; text-autospace: none; vertical-align: baseline;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Eine wichtige Eigenschaft von Filtersand ist seine H\u00e4rte. Je h\u00e4rter das Material ist, desto besser beh\u00e4lt es seine Form bei langfristigen Filtrationsvorg\u00e4ngen. Zur Bestimmung der H\u00e4rte von Filtermedien wird die Mohs-Skala der Mineralh\u00e4rte verwendet. Sie wird in einer qualitativen Ordinalskala von 1 bis 10 ausgedr\u00fcckt und charakterisiert die Kratzfestigkeit verschiedener Mineralien durch die F\u00e4higkeit des h\u00e4rteren Materials, weicheres Material zu zerkratzen.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; punctuation-wrap: simple; text-autospace: none; vertical-align: baseline;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Niederl\u00e4ndischer Flusssand besteht typischerweise aus 96% SiO<sub>2<\/sub> und 2% <\/span>Al<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub> und der Entz\u00fcndungsverlust sollte gering sein: &lt; <span lang=\"EN-US\">0,5%. Der Sand<\/span> ist<span lang=\"EN-US\"> auf der Mohs-H\u00e4rteskala mit 7 bewertet. Ein abgerundetes Flusssandkorn f\u00fcr die Filtration<\/i><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-91cfc3f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"91cfc3f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Filtersandgr\u00f6\u00dfe und -verteilung<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-075e460 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"075e460\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In einem Sandfilter wird die Korngr\u00f6\u00dfenverteilung auf der Grundlage der Anwendung und der Feststoffbeladung bestimmt. In Trinkwasseranwendungen werden typischerweise K\u00f6rnungen von 0,6 - 1,3 mm verwendet, w\u00e4hrend in Abwasseranwendungen 1,2 - 2,0 mm \u00fcblich sind.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Wenn Sand in einem garantierten Korngr\u00f6\u00dfenbereich geliefert wird, ist die obere und untere Korngr\u00f6\u00dfengrenze nicht felsenfest. Bestellt man einen Korngr\u00f6\u00dfenbereich von 1,2 - 2,0 mm, so sind sowohl die untere als auch die obere Grenze f\u00fcr 10 weight% kleinere und 10 weight% gr\u00f6\u00dfere K\u00f6rner zul\u00e4ssig.\u00a0<br \/><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal translation-block\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ein weiterer wichtiger Parameter, der den Filtersand charakterisiert, ist der Uniformit\u00e4tskoeffizient oder UC. Dieser ist als Verh\u00e4ltnis definiert und wird berechnet als die Gr\u00f6\u00dfen\u00f6ffnung, die gerade 60% des Sandes (d60<br>-Wert) durchl\u00e4sst, geteilt durch die Gr\u00f6\u00dfen\u00f6ffnung, die gerade 10% der Sandprobe (d10-Wert) durchl\u00e4sst. Liegt der Homogenit\u00e4tskoeffizient unter 1,5, bedeutet dies, dass die Sandpartikel in ihrer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe sehr \u00e4hnlich sind. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Bei der Tiefenfiltration sollte der Wert des Gleichm\u00e4\u00dfigkeitskoeffizienten zwischen 1,3 und 1,5 liegen, um eine Schichtung des Filterbetts bei der R\u00fccksp\u00fclung zu vermeiden. Ein niedrigerer Wert des Koeffizienten ist m\u00f6glich, f\u00fchrt aber zu h\u00f6heren Siebkosten und bietet kaum zus\u00e4tzliche Vorteile. Bei einem kontinuierlichen Sandfilter ist dieses Schichtungsproblem nicht relevant, da das Sandwaschverfahren ganz anders abl\u00e4uft und das Medium nicht expandiert wird.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-74c43af elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"74c43af\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><p><b>Filtersand in einem Durchlauffilter<br><\/b><\/p>\n\n<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b948517 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b948517\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Sobald der Filtertank mit Sand gef\u00fcllt ist (entweder mit Big Bags oder mit einem Sch\u00fcttgutf\u00f6rderer, der den Sand einbl\u00e4st) und der Filter in Betrieb ist, sieht das Sandbett wie der angegebene Querschnitt aus. In der Mitte des Filters befindet sich der vertikale Luftheber, oben die Waschanlage und an der Unterseite des Tanks die Verteilerarme, die den Filter beschicken. Der gewaschene Sand f\u00e4llt dann in einem Winkel von 30 Grad, der dem nat\u00fcrlichen Gef\u00e4lle entspricht, auf die Oberseite des Sandbetts zur\u00fcck.
