In einem kurzen Interview werden die Hintergr\u00fcnde und Triebkr\u00e4fte der Forschung er\u00f6rtert. Die Pilotanlage, bestehend aus einem biologisch verbesserten Granulat-Aktivkohle-Filterreaktor, ist in der Kl\u00e4ranlage Emmen in den Niederlanden voll in Betrieb. Es werden regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Proben entnommen, um die Entfernungsleistung f\u00fcr eine gro\u00dfe Anzahl von Arzneimittelr\u00fcckst\u00e4nden zu bestimmen.
