Brightwork en partners ontvangen VIDA-demonstratievoucher<\/h1>\n

In juli 2019 heeft het consortium bestaande uit Brightwork, Nedaq en Nordic Water Benelux, een VIDA Demonstratie Voucher ontvangen. Voor hun voorstel om de toepassing van doekfiltratie voor waterhergebruikdoeleinden in de voedingssector te onderzoeken.<\/span><\/p>\n

Het concept van doekfiltratie is in andere landen toegepast voor toepassingen als hergebruik van water, behandeling van oppervlaktewater en vergaande fosfaatverwijdering.<\/span><\/p>\n

De techniek maakt gebruik van vezelmedia van stapeldoek in cassettes die in een half of volledig ondergedompeld trommelfilter worden geplaatst. Tijdens het roteren worden zwevende deeltjes en andere verontreinigingen in het afvalwater verzameld aan de buitenkant van de vezelmedia. Ondertussen stroomt het behandelde water door de doekfiltermedia naar het midden van de trommel, van waaruit het naar de volgende behandelingsstap wordt afgevoerd. Zonder de filtratie te stoppen, wordt het filtermedium automatisch gereinigd. Met behulp van een terugspoelproces met water en of reiniging door afzuiging (stofzuigerprincipe).<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Door de toekenning van de VIDA Demonstratievoucher zijn we nu in staat om deze technologie onder Nederlandse omstandigheden te gaan testen. Om waardevolle kennis en ervaring op te doen. We zien mogelijkheden om doekfiltratie toe te passen als nabehandelingsstap voor biologisch gezuiverd industrieel en huishoudelijk afvalwater. En als onderdeel van een waterhergebruikinstallatie zou het grote voordelen kunnen hebben. Doekfiltratie zou een economisch interessant alternatief kunnen zijn voor technologie\u00ebn zoals ultrafiltratie die worden gebruikt in voorbehandelingssystemen voor waterhergebruikprojecten.\u00a0<\/span>De resultaten en praktijkervaringen van dit proefonderzoek zullen deze toepassing moeten bewijzen\".<\/span><\/p>\n
