Dit programma is erop gericht de marktintroductietijd te versnellen van zuiveringstechnologie\u00ebn die waterschappen kunnen helpen microverontreinigingen effici\u00ebnt uit afvalwater te verwijderen.<\/p>\n<p>De kern van onze technische oplossing is tertiaire continue filtratie met behulp van een filtermedium dat bestaat uit korrelige actieve kool (GAC). Om de periode tussen twee regeneraties van de GAC te verlengen, wordt het filter van zuurstof voorzien om de biologische activiteit te bevorderen. Dit bevordert de biologische afbraak van organisch materiaal en verhoogt de langdurige adsorptiecapaciteit van het medium voor microverontreinigingen.<\/p>\n<p>De technologie kan tegelijkertijd geschikt zijn voor de verwijdering van nutri\u00ebnten, bijvoorbeeld voor de verwijdering van fosfor door coagulantendosering in de toevoer van het filter. Op deze manier wordt een multifunctioneel zuiveringssysteem ontwikkeld dat ook bijdraagt tot de doelstellingen van de Europese kaderrichtlijn Water.<\/p>\n<p>Als de haalbaarheidsstudie is voltooid en de beweringen worden bevestigd, zal een proefinstallatie worden ge\u00ebxploiteerd in nauwe samenwerking met een of meer Nederlandse waterschappen.
