EAWAG beheert het project dat zich richt op poedervormige actieve kooldosering voorafgaand aan de tertiaire continue zandfilters.<\/p>\n<p>In samenwerking met Techfina uit Zwitserland en Nordic Water GmbH zal Sand-Cycle worden toegepast om de prestaties van de zandfilter tijdens de proeven te controleren. Dit is de eerste Zwitserse Sand-Cycle referentie.<\/p>\n<p>Zwitserland loopt voorop op de Europese markt voor de verwijdering van microverontreinigingen uit stedelijk afvalwater, die door nationale wetgeving wordt geregeld. Tertiaire DynaSand-filters, die vaak werden toegepast voor de verwijdering van nutri\u00ebnten, kunnen nu bijdragen tot het bereiken van deze nieuwe doelstelling. Een goede bewaking en controle van deze filters wordt daarom nog belangrijker.
