Vorige week is onze klant, een internationaal kunstmestverwerkingsbedrijf, begonnen met de bouw van de fundering voor een nieuwe afvalwaterzuiveringsinstallatie, voorafgaand aan de lozing op oppervlaktewater. Het belangrijkste doel is het verwijderen van fosfor om te voldoen aan de nieuwe toestemmingsniveaus.<\/p>

De eerste idee\u00ebn voor de opzet van de afvalwaterzuiveringsinstallatie zijn samengesteld en getest door Geert Notenboom (http:\/\/www.wacono.nl\/<\/a>) en Anthoney Marta (https:\/\/www.amart.nl\/<\/a>).<\/p>

Voorafgaand aan het ontwerp van de volledige installatie (capaciteit 60 m3\/u) wordt een pilotinstallatie gebruikt om de definitieve basis voor het ontwerp en de besturingsfilosofie te bepalen. De essenti\u00eble onderdelen van de installatie bestaan uit NaOH-dosering, pH-conditionering van het voedingswater, directe continue filtratie met inline dosering van coagulanten en een bezinktank voor het continu vrijkomende waswater.<\/p>

De resultaten van de proeffabriek zijn gebruikt om een robuuste afvalwaterzuiveringsinstallatie te ontwerpen en te bouwen, die medio 2024 operationeel zal zijn.<\/p>

De proeffabriek toonde aan dat het cre\u00ebren van een goed pH-regelsysteem onder vari\u00ebrende voedingsstroomomstandigheden cruciaal bleek te zijn voor betrouwbare resultaten. Het verhogen van de pH van het voedingswater tot een pH-bereik van 5,5 - 6,4 was voldoende om het oplosbare fosfor om te zetten in onoplosbare FePO4-vlokken. Deze vlokken konden zeer goed worden vastgehouden, zelfs bij filtratiesnelheden tot 10 m\/u en voedingsfosforconcentraties tot 10 mg\/l P. Er wordt een zeer helder filtraat geproduceerd, zoals te zien is op de video die de filtraatsectie van het zandfilter toont. In het middelste deel van het filter keert het gewassen filterzand terug naar de bovenkant van het filterbed.<\/p>
